Outi Heiskanen - Primordial Sea

Academician, Professor and visual artist Outi Heiskanen is best known
for the sensitive line work of her graphics. The artist´s 75th anniversary
exhibition however, also presents works lesser known to the public;
paintings, sculptures and installations. In addition, the exhibition shows
companion pieces, works made jointly by Outi Heiskanen and photographer
Janne Laine.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the museum has produced a lavishly
illustrated book about the artist, with text by art critic Otso Kantokorpi.
There is also a documentary film shown during the exhibition.
