Osmo Rauhala – Mirror Test
Osmo Rauhala (1957–) is one of the pioneers of the current international movement in Finnish contemporary art. His 60 year jubilee exhibition at the Didrichsen Art Museum shows his most recent work.

Through his work Rauhala explores numbers, measures and language and their role in evolution. He is particularly interested in the studies of Pythagoras and in rays, which are known to be very intelligent animals with an unusual level of consciousness. The exhibition consists of paintings and video installations.
The exhibition is part of the programme for the centenary of Finland’s independence in 2017.
General guided tours in English to Osmo Rauhala’s exhibition will be held at 12 pm on the 1st Saturday of every month: 7.10., 4.11., 2.12. & 6.1. The tours are included in the museum ticket. No reservation needed.
